I went shopping

I went shopping and found some great deals.

Lower left hand corner- Seuss burp cloths (total score!!)

Star bibs- these will be going to my mother's house, she loves stars.

A frog toy.

Frog blankets- which were on sale, but I found them cheaper on line.

Finally a purple cup for me :}

Oh and I bought two new pillows- one for me and one for DH :}

Week 39ish

How far along? 39ish  weeks lol 

Maternity clothes? Sometimes- If I don't wear them, I don't look pregnant. 

Stretch marks? Nope :}


Sleep: Sleeping pretty well actually :}


Best moment this week: So the exciting thing that I talked about a few weeks back?  Well to surprise DH, I had some maternity photos taken!!!  I will share them as soon as I get the copyrighted ones from my photographer.  

Miss Anything? ehhhh, not really.


Movement:  Oh yes, he still moves quite a lot.  :}


Food cravings: Nothing in particular- but I have been eating more lately :}


Anything making you queasy or sick: Not really.


Gender: Boy


Labor Signs:  None so far, no real contractions or Braxton-Hicks


Symptoms: My upper back has been hurting but nothing to get excited about. 


Belly Button in or out? Still in :}


Wedding rings on or off?  Still on :}


Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy :}


Looking forward to: Putting the finishing touches on the nursery :}  I did find all of the hardware for the curtains, McBaby's Godfather hung the black-out shade. :}  We still have to re-do the bookcase because we put it together backwards, whoops!  lol 

I have been getting my photo taken every day (well I thought of it on Oct 2, so I missed the first lol)

Duh so I can remember what was hers!!

Week 38

How far along? Around 38- remember way back when I got my ultrasound and she couldn't officially change the date?  So maybe this is week 37 too.  My original due date was Oct. 20th, but the Dr. said he'd be early like the 13th.

Maternity clothes? Only when I want to look pregnant!  I just look a little chubby when I wear my regular clothes.  I got all these fabulous maternity clothes, so I must do my best to wear them all!!
Stretch marks? Nope :}
Sleep:   ehhhh....  sometimes I can sleep through the night but then wake right before DH has to get up, so I stay in bed and not wake him up.
Best moment this week: I went to see the doctor and she told me that the baby's head dropped :}
Miss Anything? Being comfortable when sitting lol  The baby is taking up a lot of room! 
Movement: Yes very frequently :}
Food cravings: nothing really :}
Anything making you queasy or sick:  Not really.
Gender: Boy
Labor Signs: I did have some pains in my stomach one morning.  I was going towards the bathroom and had the pains, DH was standing at the bottom of the stairs getting ready to leave for work.  He was worried that I was in labor lol  no I was guessing it was just his head moving down.
Symptoms: Pains in my lower abdomen.

Wedding rings on or off?  Still on :}
Happy or Moody most of the time:  Pretty content :}
Looking forward to: The baby's Godparents are coming to help hang the curtain and blackout shade.  We bought the shade and hardware for it.... however, I have no idea as to where the curtain rod and hardware for that is.... well there is still a little time lol

Clothes for me

Top: purple top, teal top, purple top and a white top.  The  white top has cute sides that pull up- very cute :}

Two pair of maternity pajamas~ a 2 piece black with polka dots and a 3 piece pink set :}

4 pair of pants
a gray sweatshirt and
not pictured is this fabulous purple sweater.  Some day I will stop being so hot... temperature wise and it will be winter :}

Things Still needed...

So at my shower, a friend of mine said that all of our friends go 3 weeks early.... UMMMM WHAT!!?!?!?!

I am not ready for that at all.


I also have decided that McBaby should be born on the 11th- so his birthday
would be 10-11-12!  How awesome would that be?!?!?!!?
  

My bags aren't fully packed, I still need clothes to wear home~

 I could only imagine what DH would bring me! I shutter to imagine!!

I still need to finish the nursery- little touches.  I am afraid to open up diapers lol  

what if I need to return them because he is too big???

I need to find a second carseat- long story...

(Found a carseat!!)

We need a monitor yet, DH wants one that connects to our iPhones and iPads.

Car shades for DH's car.

Thermometers- yes plural :} 

I need to find an umbrella stroller- at least this one is not a rush!

I need to get the baby some toiletries- 

I had bought a baby bathtub, but then found another one I liked better, so now we have two lol

I like this one much better :}

We need to buy and install a blackout shade-
our part- is the buying part, the installing part is the Godfather's job lol

See if my gamma made the curtains.

DH and I need to write a letter to McBaby :}

I still have to write my thank you notes to my friends and family for the baby shower gifts.

The small bookshelf needs to be put together.

I am sure there are other items that I or McBaby will need but we will 

have to wait until we actually need them!!!

Week 37

How far along? Week 37

Maternity clothes? Only when I want to look pregnant!
Stretch marks? nope :}
Sleep: I have been sleeping through the night surprisingly well, I am surprised!
Best moment this week: Remember that I said I had something in the works?  Well I am one step closer to reveling it!
Miss Anything? Just today- I went to get a Starbucks- I usually get a Venti Vanilla Latte.... well wit this new "diet" I am on, I can't drink them... see the photo at the bottom....
Movement: I swear this week McBaby was doing the Wipers on the Bus go Swish Swish Swish!  It was the weirdest thing ever!!
Food cravings: Starbucks- yes decaf :}
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing really.

Labor Signs: Thank goodness no :}
Symptoms: I did have some abdomen pains- DH yells upstairs to me, "Are you in labor?"  Nope just my body getting ready, I am guessing :}

Wedding rings on or off? Still on- but I gather that I can't wear them to the hospital though- it will be weird not to have my jewelery on though, I never take them off!

Looking forward to: Having the nursery completely done very soon.  The crib is put together and such, there will be photos posted soon of the nursery.  We still need to hang a black-out shade and Gamma made curtains!
