Everyday

It is not everyday that my DH fixes something. Home Depot is not a store for us. However, give us a child, and we can teach them! The theme for Scrapping the Music was the song Everyday.

Color - Scrapping the Music

This layout encompasses several different challenges. On SCS you were to use a black and white photo and monocromatic color scheme. On Srcapping the music, the song of the week was Colors by Kira Willey. This is a song that I have never heard before, but one that I really enjoyed!

Little Drummer Boy

Here is my take on the challenge for this week at Scrapping the Music. The song was Little Drummer Boy.

We got Rock Band for a joint Christmas present. When We play, I sing and my husband usually plays guitar/bass but sometimes for fun and he feels adventerous, he plays the drums.

World- Five for Fighting- title again

I worked on the title a little more. I used the flower from Short and Sweet set and colored the flowers and stems using markers. I did finally attach the buttons in the "O's"

World- Five for Fighting

This is for the scrap the music challenge. The title are words from the song. The button is to pull out the hidden journaling. It says something like a marriage is more than just love, it takes other things. These other things are what my husband and I came up with on the five tags at the bottom. On the title, I used the flower from the Short and Sweet Stampin' Up! set. I used purple buttons along the side of the photo and in the "O's" in the title. I heat embossed the heart in the "O" in love. The letters are from Stampin' Up! are ABC upper and lower.

The idea of the flower on the letters came from 25 Title techniques and tips by Laura F.
