Week 33

How far along? 33 weeks

Maternity clothes? Some, but not all.
Stretch marks?  nope :}
Sleep: Still 50/50 if I get up during the middle of the night, then I can sleep longer- well as long as CJ will let me sleep:}
Best moment this week: The baby made DH's hand move and he backed up a little freaked out!
Miss Anything? Eating normal food :{  I am not liking this new diet, although DH is :}
Movement: Yes all of the time, I gather that he is about 17inches. Food cravings: I guess banana bread- I have made it twice this week already!!
Anything making you queasy or sick:  thankfully no :}
Gender: Boy
Labor Signs: nope
Symptoms: ankle still swollen time for a pedicure :}
Belly Button in or out? still in
Wedding rings on or off? still on
Happy or Moody most of the time: still happy  
Looking forward to: putting the final touches on the nursery-  painting is done, most of the furniture is moved it.  I will still have to put the decals on the dresser and on the wall.    I did bring in the stuffed animals in :}  Yes all book character stuffed animals!  :}

Diaper bag (Cat in the Hat) and going home~
I have picked out McBaby's outfit already- of course it has frogs on it :}
(I have now figured out that the outfit I was going to use, and is pictured, will NOT work for a go home outfit.  It is a sleeper and to go home, McBaby will have to have legs in his outfit to work around his car seat.  I have asked everyone to be on the lookout for one.  I am bummed that the outfit I picked was perfect- it included an outfit, a hat, and a blanket.  He will still get to wear it in the hospital, so that works for me!)
1-2 other outfits- I don't know how long we are going to stay.

His car seat, thanks Dad, all set!  (Been in the truck for a while :})

I am not really packing anything for Randy as we live like 5 minutes from the hospital. If he needs something he will just go home and get it- no big deal.  Plus the dogs still need to be fed and let out.  Okay so CJ needs those things, Tank will not eat and hold it until I get home!  lol He is a momma's boy through and through :}



So this week, I have been doing laundry for the baby and I have started to sort it out.

This picture was taken only after the first load of laundry.  It is sorted by age.  I am still doing laundry as I type this the night before the post will be published.  As a side note~  the dresser drawers are from my grandpa's bathroom from our old house in Door County. :}





Oh and yes I know it is early :}  Anything else I should bring along? I'd love to hear it :}

Week 32

How far along? 32 weeks

Maternity clothes? Some and I only look pregnant when wearing them!
Stretch marks? Nope :}
Sleep:  Still sleep through the night more than I get up :}
Best moment this week: We finished painting the nursery!!!  (DH also painted the floor, ceiling, wood trim, electrical sockets, his hair and the dog's whisker!)
Miss Anything? comfort- this little guy is super active!
Movement:  All of the time.  They tell expecting mom's to "count the kicks" you should get 10 kicks in an hour- well in less than five minutes, he kicked twenty times, then I stopped counting lol

Food cravings: nothing really :{  lol

Anything making you queasy or sick:  Food and I are still not friends- now I am also on a super strict diet :{

Symptoms: The only skinny thing ever on my body except my wrists were my ankles.... well now they look bigger to me :{

Happy or Moody most of the time: Still happy- don't really go through mood swings- yes even DH would agree :}Looking forward to: putting the furniture into the nursery now that the painting is done.  We need to have a crib (duh,)  a tall books shelf, a short bookshelf, my glider rocker, and dresser.  DH put my rocker in the room already, so when I read to the baby it is in his own room.

Nursery Re-Do

We pulled the carpet back to find this very icky black mess under the carpet.

 Thankfully we scrapped it off relatively easy :}

The hard part was removing the nails, and staples... oh did I mention the fact that the carpet installer (who we think was the former owner) used regular desk staples????

 I worked on removing the 80's pastel border.

The floor looks brand new!  AMAZING!!!!!

We still need to clean and seal it, but it looks a million times incredible!

Week 31

How far along? 31

Maternity clothes? Sometimes :}

Sleep: I sleep almost through the night.
Best moment this week: We finished our last baby class.  The baby nor DH enjoyed them!  lol
Miss Anything? Bleu cheese
Movement: I think he is turning upside down because when he moves, so does my stomach!
Food cravings: Nothing
Anything making you queasy or sick: Food is still not my friend

Happy or Moody most of the time:  Happy
Looking forward to: Nightly story time- with working on the nursery, the glider is in Tank's room- so when there is story time, I go into Tank's room and read a book.  CJ lays on the floor- Tank doesn't like to share his bed with CJ lol Can you say spoiled doggy?   lol

Tots to Teen Sale

There was a huge Tot's to Teen sale at a local school and this was prior to us finding out what we were having- Gender neutral plus the blue one at the bottom is Eric Carle :}

Very- one of the onesies even had the tag!

I think my total was under $5 for all of it!!

Week 30

Stretch marks? nope :}
Sleep: ehhhh..... it's a 50/50 but then I usually have to get up to pee
Best moment this week:  2nd baby class- neither the baby nor DH are enjoying the class lol
Miss Anything? Caesar  salads lol
Movement:  all of the time regardless of what I eat or drink.
Food cravings:  chocolate milk- I am not sure but since it is so hot, I have been eating popsicles a new variety each week. However, DH is craving Pizza Hut pizza with extra sauce and Code Red Mt. Dew
Anything making you queasy or sick: nothing looks very good at all.

Looking forward to: This weekend, there is a Pampered Chef meeting in Illinois and we are staying overnight! We get to see the new fall products and maybe we can do a little bit of shopping :}  This week we celebrated my grandmother's 92nd birthday!
