Beginning our 4th month

Last week not only did you giggle more frequently, rather just once in a while.  The only time you would giggle would be when I got you up in the morning. Now with a little tickling, I can get a little giggle or two :}  Still rather random.


Another thing that you have just learned is to shriek.  Thank goodness, it is only for a second or two, but caught me by surprise!


Lately, you get very loud when you are getting tired.  You talk a little louder, a little louder, and a little louder until you fall asleep.  :}

We had a short week this week.  However, we had lots of plans!  No school on Monday, so we had a play date with three of my sorority sisters and their children.  We went to the children's museum for the older children and then to McDonald's.

Wednesday is the third Wednesday, so I don't have to go to work.  :} Friday will be when you turn 4 months old.  I often marvel at your existence. I am truly amazed at what a miracle you are.

Something else that I realized, people often write what their child's favorites are... well for now you get what I give you lol so of course, you love your frogs lol

He is in the 5th percentile for height and weight.  He has a bigger head though lol  For all his brains!!

I also received coupons to share with my friends.  I had a devil of a time squeezing it and thought it was broken.  I asked Randy for help, he got it to work.  I will let you know soon how the other one works.

I also got these bottles from Nuby.  I think they have such cute things :}

Every time I use them, they leak.  I am super bummed.  :{  I emailed the company and I will be sending them back.  I have mixed feelings about this. Being that they are so dog-gone-cute, I really want to like them, but they cause me great frustration.  :{

With a little help from my friends

So it started with buying these two boxes of diapers.  Yes, I know they are size 2's but he will need them at some point!

For buying diapers, which I need, I got a $20 gift card!  ummm... okay- no catches.

The next week, they had a different diaper deal.  Buy two packs get a $5 gift card. So, thanks to a friend who printed me coupons plus I had a Target coupon on top of that, I had a great deal!

So I use the gift card from last week, to buy this weeks deal, plus some M&M's to make blondies....  well let's just say that because I didn't have my large scoop and my cake tester, they didn't turn out :{


Plus I still have some money left on the card!!

January Month 3

Well Jan 22nd will begin our third month.

Peyton is such an awesome baby, we truly lucked out!!  First off, usually when you put a newborn in his crib he usually wakes right up, happens all of the time.  Well not for Peyton!  Thank goodness :} I was already prepared for this and thought about putting a heating pad on the mattress to warm up the sheets and move it right before I laid him down, well no need.  Love that child :}

This past month his favorites:

His snuggle bunny swing. He loves it and is in it daily.

He loves his Baby Einstein activity gym.  One day, I was working on my laptop while he was playing. I feel like someone is watching me, sure enough, Peyton was.  So I look at him and he turns away, we go back and forth like this several more times. He is hilarious!

I have also noticed that this child has more clothes than me!  Seriously, I don't think he will wear anything twice!!!  This is a bummer, as there are some very cute clothes.  I take a photo of him everyday :}

He is also getting better at changing clothes, when we play "Where's the baby?" when I have to put things over his head.

But for any further reference, P still belongs to Tank.

Well I can't end this post on a very sad note, so here was dinner at GiGi's house.  My mother decided to "feed" P butterhorns. He really liked the frosting of course!!:}

December- a month in review

We put up a limited amount of Christmas decorations this year because of all of the baby items in the living room lol

Black Friday... dark Thursday Shopping

I went shopping with 3 of my sorority sisters, we started out Thanksgiving night.


What was different about this trip is
1) this is the first time that I have gone with these girls- normally I just hear about their wild time the following day because Randy and I usually go shopping.  He is thankful that he doesn't have to go! I have only missed one Black Friday since I can remember and that was when I had my hip surgery.

2) of the 4 of us going, 3 of us have recently given birth so we are all going to have to pump!

Last Week in November

We had a visit from my sorority sister and her two children.

They brought these awesome gifts.

I went shopping and got all these clothes for under $30!!!

4 pair of pants

I have tons of shirts, but only a few pants.

We got 2 new guinea pigs.

CJ loves them!

I reversed my phone so we were looking at ourselves!

Exploring job opportunities at the tire shop while we get 4 new tires on the truck (ouch)

Credit card was expired... lol they were a little mad, but what was I to do?!?!?!?

Oh well, go to school to get a card from my mom.

Took a long time because all the teachers needed to meet you!

This is what my night/day looks like to feed the baby.

I am really trying to get a better schedule, like going to bed at 8.

I don't want to wake up my DH before he has to actually get up.

So if I get up at 5, I can be back in bed and asleep before he has to get up for school.

Although one day last week, I slept for 5 straight hours 

(this was before I had to feed the baby every 3 hours)

I turned over in bed and noticed DH was gone- I looked at the clock and it said 7 am, 

I couldn't understand why he was up, I sent him a text asking if he was okay,

told me that he had to fix his hair-

I still didn't understand why he was up so early fixing his hair on

a Saturday, then I realized that it was a weekday lol

The shirt came from my Godmother, Jennifer.

I have a chick on my arm and I can curl a cow with my left arm.
