Week 26

How far along? 26 weeks

Maternity clothes? ummm.... well my friend Jenni and I went maternity clothes shopping plus Randy took me shopping but I found Dr. Seuss Socks more interesting!  I did get some pants for school and some shorts to wear around.  
Stretch marks? They say that stretch marks are based on heredity, well even when my mom doubled her weight by gaining 90 pounds (wait OMG!!! what????) she never got stretch marks :}  No I am not gaining 90 pounds.  I  don't watch when they weigh me, but each month the nurse says I am good.  I had lost weight from my first appointment to the second one.
Sleep: Slightly  hindered by leg cramps.  I got one right before my alarm went off and I couldn't get to it fast enough before it beeped :(
Best moment this week: Getting a new dishwasher- the one we had was awful- the wheels all fell off, the top rack keeps falling down lol
Miss Anything? My pool- we are going to fix it- that can't come soon enough!  I actually love the hot weather- but holy cow this baby does not like it at all!  
Movement:  Oh yes all through the day.
Food cravings: DQ Blizzard- Mocha Chip to be exact!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Food- nothing looks good to me :{
Gender: Boy
Symptoms: I am still melting.  We only had two days of school this week due to the 4th of July holiday.
Belly Button in or out? in
Wedding rings on or off? on :}
Happy or Moody most of the time:  Happy 
Looking forward to: Painting the nursery- yes still.  Jenni and I picked out colors- one step closer!!!  I am not looking forward to getting the freakin' border off though! 


Yes those are ALL socks!!!  I don't own a pair of plain white or black socks!  :}

Nursery

So the theme of the nursery is Books :}  Not a big stretch coming from two teachers! :}

There will also be Eric Carle accents as well.  I have been collecting those book characters from Kohls so they will be displayed as well. 

Thanks to my mom for buying the bedding, mobile, lamp shade, and organizer. :}

Week 25

How far along? I finally changed the weeks so maybe this will be week 25 :}

Maternity clothes? ummmm... well not Monday and Tuesday, but Wednesday morning, I went to get dressed for school and my pants didn't fit, another pair didn't fit :(  So I had to get some new pants :}
Stretch marks?  Nope :}
Sleep: Wake up, but rarely get up
Best moment this week:  We had our doctor appointment and we listened to his heartbeat, 159, and while we were listening he kicked me and we all got to hear it.
Miss Anything? not really well maybe bleu cheese lol people keep ordering it when we go out to dinner grrrrrrr
Movement:  Oh yes, he is very active :}
Food cravings: chocolate milk
Anything making you queasy or sick: most food still
Gender: Boy
Labor Signs: Nope
Symptoms: very very hot- it is super hot this summer here and I tell my summer school students that I am going to melt.

Looking forward to:  painting the baby's room Randy and our friend worked on the nursery this past weekend and sanded the floor, it looks awesome :}

Week 23

How far along? 23 weeks--- maybe I should just bump it up a week sometime lol

Maternity clothes? Nope- it's so very hot and I still feel like I am going to melt!
Stretch marks? Nope :}
Sleep:  I wake up, but not usually to pee lol
Best moment this week: Randy cleaned off the dining room table and a kitchen counter while I was at work :}
Miss Anything? Not really- it isn't like I drank before so nothing to miss there lol
Movement: Oh yes... he is very active still :}
Food cravings: Chocolate milk and egg rolls--- but NOT together lol  I really wanted to have chocolate milk but looked in the fridge and no syrup- I don't even remember having chocolate syrup in our house lol so I searched on Pinterest and Yahoo! for a recipe using cocoa powder... well that was no help-  I added the powder and it sat on the top so when I stirred it, yep you guessed it, all over my counter :{  I got a shaker and tried again.  It had a weird consistency but hey, it's what I wanted.  Later we did get some syrup at the store :}  
Anything making you queasy or sick: food- I know I have to eat, so I eat :}

Symptoms: Still stuffy :{  I guess I will have to go to the doctor sometime soon.

Looking forward to: hummmm......working on the nursery this weekend.  Two brave friends are coming to help... oh wait, the guys will be doing this, I wonder what the gals will be doing????  lol
